Books are accepted as trade-ins based on the condition of the book and our current book needs. Bringing us books earns you store credit that can be applied toward part of purchases. Store credit gives you 25% off purchases.
For example, if you want to purchase a $4.00 book, we ring it in as $3.00 and take the rest out or your credits (4 credits to a dollar).

GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR BOOKS
We will look at almost any book (see below). Books in good shape have no bent pages, a readable spine, and are still square. Books stored in humid places like your garage or basement do not live long, nor do books thrown into a pile. Store your books in neat stacks, in a place that is comfortable for you. Some dirt washes off easily (we use 409) though pet hairs can be difficult to get out of pages. Fan the book (moving from cover to cover) and blow. Repeat as necessary.Use a book mark (or for you really smart folks, remember the page number). Some stickers remove easily, leave the rest on. Residue left over from those stickers is worse than the stickers themselves. Avoid using toothpicks, candy, pizza crusts, or cotton swabs for bookmarks. Dollar bills are a much nicer way to surprise us. :)
